We’re Erika and András Vágány, the proud co-founders of CleanRise. Our journey together began in 2010 when we married, but it truly feels like our purpose unfolded when we decided to build something meaningful together. London has been our home since 2004, and over the years, we’ve worked hard, learned, and grown through experiences that have shaped who we are today.

 Erika has spent many years in the cleaning industry, providing professional services to families and businesses, earning a reputation for her attention to detail and commitment to quality. Andras, originally a self-employed builder, worked his way up to the role of building manager, managing various teams and projects across the construction sector.

The idea came from a place of deep love and care. When András’s mother was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, our world turned upside down. Watching her struggle was heartbreaking, and as she became bedridden, we realized just how much professional support she needed, not only from us but also through services like cleaning that many take for granted. While the council offered help, the available resources just weren’t enough to provide the comfort and cleanliness she deserved.

That difficult chapter opened our eyes to a reality faced by so many others. Families, elderly individuals, and people with disabilities often find it nearly impossible to access reliable and affordable cleaning services. This realization stirred something in us, a desire to step up and help.

Our faith as Christians teaches us the importance of serving others, and it’s a value we hold close to our hearts. CleanRise was born from this spirit of giving. It’s more than a business for us; it’s our way of making life just a little better for those who need it most. We aim to provide not only high-quality and affordable cleaning services but also job opportunities for people who might otherwise be overlooked.
